New Association Brings Together World’s Best Wedding Photographers

Launching this week, Best of Wedding Photography brings together the top leaders in the wedding photography field in an interactive blog and online directory. The site is a dynamic community where photographers and brides can interact, view spectacular imagery and learn about the latest trends in the wedding photography business.

Best of Wedding Photography will issue several rounds of invitations each year. Invitees must be nominated by current members; and the nomination list is submitted to the Review Board for consideration. Panel members individually review and vote on each nominated photographer. Any photographer who receives a majority ‘yes’ vote is eligible to receive an invitation. It is a time-consuming process, but the founders of BOWP think it’s worth it to maintain high standards

“Every invitation we issue represents a consensus among peers that a given photographer ranks among the best in the world,” says BOWP editor, Erick Danzer.

“We are trying to establish an organization with a strong brand that both brides and fellow photographers will recognize as a mark of excellence,” Danzer says.
